AM291rq Financial Fundamentals for Asset Managers (CHAM)

Take your financial skills to the next level with this course designed for asset managers. Learn how properties generate cash flow, what drives long‑term financial health, and how to evaluate sustainability across a portfolio. Through hands‑on modeling, you’ll practice reading financial statements, building multi‑year projections, estimating supportable debt, and distinguishing between cash flow and taxable income. You’ll also explore cap rate valuation and strategies to strengthen property performance. Learners should bring a laptop and have basic Excel skills. A test is required. This is the final course in the Asset Management Specialist designation. Prerequisite: AM290.
