AM321rq Advanced Financial Tools for Asset Managers (CHAM)

Elevate your financial expertise with this advanced course designed for experienced asset managers. You’ll dive into sophisticated measures of property performance, exploring long‑term investment returns, equity growth, the value of future cash flow, and the earning power of an asset using affordable housing scenarios. You’ll also navigate debt restructuring, refinancing strategies, and key LIHTC considerations, including investor returns, recapture risk, and Year 15 planning. Learners should bring a laptop and intermediate Excel skills are recommended. A final exam is included. This is the first advanced course toward the Certified Housing Asset Manager designation. Prerequisite: Asset Management Specialist designation.
