CP196 Healthy Homes Assessment and Interventions

This course prepares you to take the next steps in healthy homes programs by moving from hazard identification to intervention. Learn to conduct effective resident interviews, assess health-related hazards using the 8 Principles/Keep-Its, and perform thorough onsite inspections. Develop practical skills in using assessment tools, prioritizing hazards, and creating actionable intervention plans. The course emphasizes collaboration with residents, clear communication of responsibilities, and leveraging community resources for remediation. Through hands-on exercises and real-world scenarios, you will be equipped to lead healthy homes assessments and implement solutions that improve housing conditions and resident well-being. CP195 is a prerequisite.
